Over his 36 years teaching students at ETSU, Mike Smith has made has had quite the impact on his students. Under the Influence is a group show comprised of multiple photographers with one thing in common, all were students of Mike. The goal for the exhibition is to create a visual connection, contradiction and conversation between students and their teacher. Under the Influence opens January 9. A reception will be held on Thursday, January 26 from 5 to 7 p.m. The Reece Museum is free and open to the public 9 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
