The Reclaiming/Remaking exhibition features ten artists from various parts of the USA whose work address the issues of the changing climate in various media and advocacy. The work engages the viewers to rethink the state of the environment and the impact of human activity on the climate.
Each of the artists featured in this exhibition have been selected for their unique and diverse ‘lens’ in the ‘remaking’ of forms and installations that looks at the issues of environmental decay, capitalist waste, manmade environmental disasters and related issues. The field of environmental or activist art has grown considerably over the past decade and has become a significant part of the conversation in our communities both locally and globally.
