Cait Maltbie

Cait Maltbie is an artist born and raised in Madison, Kansas. They received a BFA in Printmaking from Emporia State University in 2021 and are currently pursuing their MFA from East Tennessee State University with the company of their cat, Lin. Their current body of work, Inner Bonds, deconstructs the artist’s feelings and channels them into animal characters. Through comic zines, screen prints, and sculptural work, Cait is able to explore and analyze their emotions in order to connect better and communicate with the world around them.
