The ETSU Department of Art & Design, Slocumb Galleries and the Tennessee Arts Commission through the Arts Build Communities (ABC) Grant through the First TN Development District proudly present Clay/Fiber/Metals: ETSU Studio Craft, from February 2 to 16, 2018 at the Tipton Gallery, with opening reception on February 2, First Friday, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Clay/Fiber/Metals: ETSU Studio Craft features work by ETSU students who work in the craft areas of fiber, ceramics and metalsmith. Featuring new works by ETSU students under the Department of Art & Design’s Ceramics, Fibers and Jewelry & Metals Studio Art program. The artists are from the region and have been influenced by the rich craft tradition of Appalachia mentored by innovative studio practices at ETSU Department of Art & Design under faculty Patricia Mink, Mindy Herrin and Lindsay Rogers.
