In the digital age, what will become of print media? This group show explores the trajectory of printmaking, screenprinting, zines, and other physical media. There is an emphasis on the physical, tactile interaction we get from flipping through a magazine, shopping through newly silkscreened t-shirts, or framing up a new print. As digital platforms become more expensive and popular for spreading ideas, we wonder what will happen to these carefully crafted pieces of an analog age. We will also consider a possible gridless future - if forced back to rudimentary tools and practices, what could that future of print look like? Collaborators will work with elements of printed materials that in some cases are only fully enjoyed in a physical, tactile setting, while others will bring the digital into the physical realm, creating an equally one of a kind “irl” experience.

We welcome the exploratory works of Jon Sewell, Matthew Sharer, Bingham Barnes, Rachel Briggs, Yanira Vissepo, and Risology Club for this exciting exhibition.
