The Second Pacific Family Art Show: works by artists who have roots in the Asia-Pacific regions

Presented by API (Asian Pacific Islander of Middle Tennessee) and Fido café. Artists who have origins in the Asia-Pacific regions will be exhibiting at Fido during the month of May. It will coincide with Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month, observed each year in May. The reception will be at Fido: May 3, 2025; 5:30-9pm. Artists will be available at the opening and there will be musical performances by Amy DeJesus and Isidora Miranda.

Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month became public law when Congress passed it in 1992. The month of May is designated Asian/Pacific American Heritage month to commemorate the first Japanese immigrants coming to the United States. During the month of May, we pay honor to the generation of Asian and Pacific islanders who added to the culture and history of the United States.
