YUN SHIN: PATTERN STUDY
Gallery 121 (Belmont University) / 1919 Belmont Blvd. November 6 - December 1st
Pattern Study takes its name from a repetitive, intelligible, and recurring practice, and also refers to the devotion of time and investigation of decorative design used as a guide in craft. These two-dimensional abstract patterns created by APSU Assistant Professor of Drawing Yun Shin are composited by many gridded geometric shapes and subtle color that are inspired by handcraft objects commonly created by women.
