PAM MARLENE TAYLOR: CAPTCHA (COMPLETELY AUTOMATED PUBLIC TURING TEST TO TELL COMPUTERS AND HUMANS APART)

The Red Arrow Gallery / 919 Gallatin Ave. , Suite ##4 August 3 - 28th

Pam Marlene Taylor

Red Arrow Gallery is pleased to present a solo exhibition from Pam Marlene Taylor. CAPTCHA (Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart) opens on Tuesday August 3 with an Artist Reception on Saturday August 7 from 6-9pm. The exhibition continues through Saturday August 28, 2021.

Coming on the heels of her solo presentation at OZ Arts Nashville, Pam Marlene Taylor brings all new work to Red Arrow Gallery. Conceived in early 2020 and just recently completed in July 2021, CAPCHA (Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart) finds Taylor continuing to bring her textile weaving, the practice that has traditionally been referred to as craft, to a fine art level. 19 framed and primary-colored weavings will be installed in two lines, creating a rainbow effect, and balanced with her traditional large draped and tasseled works.
