East Tennessee-based artist Katie Murphy will open a solo show of her expressive figurative paintings titled Slippers of Fire at Galerie Tangerine. This Mod Art venue features fresh and innovative art from artists nationwide and is located just south
of The Gulch.

Visitors to the exhibit will see vibrant figurative works saturated with reds and pinks and neon, as well as abstract works incorporating Murphy’s subjects in less literal ways.
