Mount Pleasant TenneSTEAM: a pre K through 12th-grade campus's commitment to using found objects to investigate Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math

Under the guidance of executive lead principal Dr.Ryan Jackson all three Mount Pleasant Schools received the designation of STEM Model Status schools from the Tennessee Department of Education and the Tennessee Stem Innovation Network.

Mount Pleasant Elementary School, Mount Pleasant Middle School of the Visual and Performing Arts, and Mount Pleasant High Schools all partner with the non-profit Kids on Stage to ensure that arts are embedding in student learning from pre-k through 12th grade.

This exhibit focuses on the use of found, recycled, reused and repurposed materials by teachers across disciplines and grade levels in all three Mount Pleasant Schools during the 2019-2020 school year.
