Skin & Bones is a two-person exhibit showing works by Brian Wooden and Ian Strawn.

Brian is a highly prolific artist from Columbus, Ohio, currently living In Nashville, TN. From striking large scale murals to immersive installations to mixed media canvas pieces, his work deftly combines classically depicted subjects with playful, colorful illustrative imagery. His inspirations run the gamut from Michelangelo to Ren & Stimpy - Rembrandt to Kaws. Skateboarding and the skateboarding culture has also been a big influence on his work. Brian is a graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design.

Born in Los Angeles, Ian has lived a semi nomadic lifestyle with stints in Philadelphia, Auckland, the Pacific Northwest, and a half dozen places in between. He is currently setting roots with his wife and four daughters, in Nashville, Tennessee. Ian is a playful realist painter. His work depicts near photorealistic subjects, of everyday people set in bright minimalist color fields and expressive line work. Identity, emotion, expression, and humor all intermingle on the canvas. Among his influences are Maira Kalman, Wassily Kandinsky, and Chuck Close. Ian is a graduate of BYU Visual Arts.
