the abyss, an photographic exhibition by Mehak Malhotra, a double major in Psychology and Human and Organizational Development with a minor in Studio Art, presents a collection of photographs that delve into the complex emotions surrounding suicide, using nature as a metaphor for the depths of human despair. Through her work, Malhotra aims to spark conversations and empathy about mental health and suicide prevention.

the abyss is on view April 2 - April 5, 2024. You can see the show this week Monday thru Thursday from 9am to 4pm in the EBI Studio Arts Center.

An artist opening is scheduled for April 2, at 4pm with the artist.
