Mark Hosford

Mark Hosford's prints, drawings, and animations are amalgamations of many different obsessions and interests. Raised in the visual language of counter-culture ephemera, comics, and animation, Hosford allows the aesthetics of his past to be incorporated into his current ideas and processes. Much like the surrealists use of automatism, Hosford allows disparate elements to inhabit his work without over-rationalizing their existence. Hosford is interested in the cross-pollination of personal experiences, observations, and ever evolving fascinations.
