SIDE B
benched verb
1. withdraw (a sports player) from play; substitute
2. exhibit (a dog) at a show
Time is not an apology, and I can still smell the dirt that was once at my feet. There are more knives in the wall, and three weird sisters dance themselves to death.
Lauren Taylor lives and works in Nashville, TN. Select solo and two person shows include Freddy (Harris, NY), bahamas biennale (Detroit, MI), Andrew Rafacz Gallery (Chicago, IL), and Paris London Hong Kong (Chicago, IL). Recent group shows include Gene’s Dispensary (San Pedro, CA), Harbinger Projects (Reykjavík, Iceland), The Hyde Park Art Center (Chicago, IL), Liberal Arts Roxbury (Roxbury, NY), Safe Gallery (Brooklyn, NY), and The Green Gallery (Milwaukee, WI).
How deep is down? (Side B) opens Saturday, February 1st, 5-9 PM, during the Wedgewood-Houston Art Crawl.
