Joshua Black returns February 2023, after his sell out show Don’t Forget to Laugh, an array of work that dealt with social commentary. However, rather than critiquing racism and community issues, Black will now be turning his critical lens inward. For this new body of work, Black will examine personal subjects he tends to shy away from. Coming from a new technical direction, the show will explore love, infidelity, pride, fear, death, materialism, and other subjects that we can all relate to. Black’s goal is to put a mirror on himself, and to encourage viewers to do the same.
