For those unaware, Jonny Fritz is legendary. The mention of his former moniker, Jonny Corndawg, will make any old school Nashvillian's heart fill with nostalgic longing. IYKYK. These days Jonny Fritz's catalogue dazzles masses near and far, and he happened to become one of the most sought after agents of unique CA real estate in his spare time after relocating a decade ago. Each new home buyer became the proud owner of a leather tooled portrait of their new home. He's just aces. Jonny has long been a masterful leather worker, creating guitar straps, dog collars and clothing for close friends and family - but this will be his first gallery exhibition. As an OG, it is my great honor to welcome home this country boy turned urban shaman, and America's favorite stone cold daddio.

Cowboy Kitchen is the original title of what was slated to be a tooled leather, solo extravaganza by the man himself this September (think wall to wall custom tooled leather clad appliances and home goods). Sadly, the recent Eaton Canyon fires in Altadena drove him and his family from their beloved neighborhood in California. But true to Jonny's unbreakable spirit, he still plans to deliver a handful of new works in the nick of time - which also happens to coincide with Americana Fest. So, we pivot!

In a stroke of pure genius (if I do say so myself) I reached out to one of my favorite artists to lend her magic and help build a pretty epic group show lineup around Jonny's theme, which is right up her alley. I am so pleased to welcome the collaborative curatorial efforts of Ash Atterberry. Ash is cut from the same tree, so her work will be featured along with her input to make September one for the books!

The concert, headlined by Jonny, will kick off on our front porch stage on Thursday, September 11th, around 6:30 & will feature Andrew Combs w/ a whole slew of special guests.

"I first saw Jonny during Americana fest a few years ago and was instantly drawn to his songwriting- combining wit with heartbreak effortlessly. Whether in his songs or his visual art there’s an honesty that’s both poetic and funny and undeniably relatable." -Ash Atterberry
