JEFFERSON STREET ART CRAWL
One Drop Ink Tattoo Parlour and Gallery / 1511 Jefferson St. June 27, 2020 - June 27, 2020
Michael Mucker, Elisheba Mrozik, Aaron Mrozik, Omari Booker
The Jefferson Street Art crawl is going on in-person for our 4th anniversary edition. We are doing what we do best- supporting local artists and tackling injustice with protest through art.
We have two locations this time but there is a ton to do along with art, a live social distance DJ Party and Pop up African clothing shop at One Drop Ink and more!
Woodcuts Gallery and Framing will have original works by James Threalkill, Omari Booker and Essence Devonne.
One Drop Ink Tattoo Parlour and Gallery will be the place to end your evening. Featuring works by Michael Mucker, Elisheba Mrozik and Aaron Mrozik, Omari Booker and more- all the works will be tackling various injustices within our society as Americans.
Blood at the Root
This art immersion experience by Elisheba and Aaron Mrozik explores the seemingly innocent and nonchalant ways in which a mindset is created through passive conversation, idyllic symbolism, and deep rooted familial ties. Together, we will explore the ways in which a mindset of difference, exception, us and them, is created as experienced in white households across America.
This experience at One Drop Ink as well as the rest of the crawl is *masks required* and we are following all social distancing guidelines. The Crawl will be outside and inside. We also have a UV-C air sanitizing system in place inside.
Couple the intense art with DJ Furious Stiles on the 1’s and 2’s plus a pop up shop with ThreadsbyDreads where you can shop glorious African Ankhara Clothing and accessories and you have the perfect crawl event!
Don’t get too exhausted after Juneteenth celebrations! All of this happens June 27th from 6-9pm.
