Jared's newest body of work, Incoming, a series of 14 pieces created with oil paint on colored plexiglass. The use of colored acrylic adds depth to these works, as the medium interacts with Small's hyperrealistic depictions, allowing them to appear as if they are dissolving into the space they occupy. Each decaying house is paired with a striking flower in bloom, providing a dynamic contrast.
