JOSHUA SHOREY & CHRISTOPHER SPURGIN: HALITIDE

Channel To Channel / 507A Hagan St. May 6th

Halitide is a time-based multimedia installation including kinetic sculpture, sound, and projection, that creates a space for ominous curiosity. The installation is composed of three to seven freestanding steel hoppers that slowly pour salt onto the ground, revealing sound from embedded speakers over a 4 hour period, and a 9-channel collaged video projection that blends landscape scenes from the Great Lakes region of the US.
