GREGORY KLASSEN: THEIR FOUR HEARTS

Milwaukee artist Gregory Klassen’s solo exhibition of charcoal drawings were created for the new translation of acclaimed Russian novelist Vladimir Sorokin's book, THEIR FOUR HEARTS, forthcoming from Deep Vellum and Dalkey Archive (translated by Max Lawton).

Vaccinated guests (and their children) are invited to the opening reception. We are currently asking that all visitors wear masks due to recent Covid surge. Gallery is located at 509 3rd Avenue South. Parking in back.

About the artist: Klassen earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and did advanced study at Kunst Akademie Dusseldorf, Germany. He was one of the last artists to study under Gerhard Richter in the 1990s. He has exhibited at galleries and museums internationally.
