FIRST ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

CONVERGE / 1224 Martin St. March 3, 2018 - March 3, 2018

CONVERGE is pleased to announce their First Anniversary Celebration, which will be held on March 3rd, from 6:00 to 9:00 pm, at CONVERGE, located on the second floor of the SNAP (South Nashville Action People) Building at 1224 Martin Street. This celebration is held in conjunction with Arts & Music at Wedgewood-Houston, and is free and open to the public.

Initiated by the husband and wife team, architectural designer, Eric Malo, and artist, poet, and curator, Alysha Irisari Malo, CONVERGE is a curated community of creative thinkers who collaborate on interdisciplinary, project-based art and design, lifestyle, and cultural programming that has a positive social impact.

For their first anniversary, CONVERGE will be opening their newly renovated Flex Space, and sharing membership information along with photographs of recent projects. CONVERGE’s Flex Space is a continually evolving place where members can plan projects, put ideas in motion, and create social practice programming.

CONVERGE’s mission is to proactively initiate interdisciplinary collaboration in order to develop thought provoking ideas and perspectives amongst its members and the public, and to provide a platform of support, facilitation, and funding assistance to creatives who seek to positively impact the community at large. CONVERGE supports creatives and beyond through innovative programming that encourages dialogue, and with resources such as Flex Space.

As a growing resource for the community, CONVERGE seeks others who share their creative vision to encourage an ideological paradigm shift by building a strong, connected, and supportive creative community that inspires innovation, social change, and community advancement.
