I step into an image to speak the invisible. The phenomenal world around me holds up a shape, a color, a space. I pay homage with my heart and hands, planting sunflowers. Missing your presence while you are away, I hold your image close. The ground is made fertile with respect, the seed grows from darkness into the sun’s love. The dark earth nurtures our roots, the sun blesses the day. I hold each one of you dear, to paint you as the moon is painted by the sun.
