Red Arrow is pleased to present, CALL & RESPONSE, a two person exhibition featuring the works of Danielle Winger and Lindsy Davis. In CALL & RESPONSE, Davis and Winger both reflect on nature, human experience, and the spaces we inhabit —both physical and emotional.

Lindsy Davis’s immersive installations explore the tension between escapism and confrontation, inviting reflection on mortality, trust, and communal bonds. Davis’s suspended sculptures invite viewers to engage with the materiality and symbolism of her work by physically stepping into the woven structures.

Danielle Winger’s paintings consider the natural landscape as both a physical space and a metaphor for memory, emotion, and the sublime. Winger depicts remote, meditative terrains —landscapes that evoke both introspection and reverence.

Both artists’ work encourages viewers to seek connection through nature. CALL & RESPONSE offers a moment of stillness amidst the modern world’s complexity —inviting reflection, conversation, and an expanded sense of space. The “call” may emerge from the landscape, the material, or the artist’s hand. The “response” is found in the viewer’s own mental and emotional engagement. In this sense, the exhibition title reflects not only the exchange between two artists, but also a broader dynamic of interaction: between body and place, past and present, inner and outer worlds.
