DANIELLE WINGER + JOHN PAUL KESLING + OLIVIA TAWZER: MOMENTARY
The Red Arrow Gallery / 919 Gallatin Ave. , Suite #4 February 4 - 25th
Danielle Winger, John Paul Kesling, Olivia Tawzer
Momentary brings together three Artists documenting life’s moments within their specific bodies of work. Depicting a nanosecond of the day or memory of a loved one, an object or place that creates nostalgia, their paintings seek to explore and capture the essence of these moments.
Danielle Winger’s abstract oil paintings are rich in color and scenery. Her work seeks to honor the landscape and the locations detailed are simultaneously hopeful and melancholic, tender, and tragic, romantic but lonely.
John Paul Kesling’s new series of paintings continue his journey in processing loss, paying tribute and an attempt to understand the world around him. These painterly and brightly colored works portray varied imagery, including flowers that mark emotional or important moments and are always temporary markers in time.
Olivia Tawzer is a painter whose works exhibit scenes and situations about people living in the southern United States. Colorful and cartoonish figures are portrayed in everyday, relational environments and each painting in this body of work connects itself to one another in a narrative way.
