What if what you said could last forever? Language takes many forms beyond the spoken word. Choice Words emphasizes how language is continually redefined and recontextualized to shape meaning. For humans, art is a language of its own, providing a medium for expression. We infuse our practice with our messages, so it’s natural that we often use the written word when we create.

When a word is written, it has the power to exist beyond our senses—not merely as sound waves that leave our mouths. As part of our curatorial process, we considered how language transcends the spoken word, how words take form and gain permanence when materialized. We create deeper meaning when we can return to something tangible. Reflecting on materiality, we couldn’t help but think of time—these words could last forever.
