ARTIST AS CITIZEN, CREATOR, CURATOR(OR) 12 COLLIDING CYCLES
Space 204 (Vanderbilt University) / 1204 25th Ave. S., E. Bronson Ingram Studio Arts Center November 1 - 15th
"In this solo exhibition, I aim to blur the lines between student and faculty, artist and curator, citizen and artist, and producer and consumer. By creating a microcosm that serves as an experimental examination of the entire art market, I aim to question what role the artist plays in our defined society. I also hope to prove that at the boundaries between culturally defined roles, play via material exploration, role-playing, and controlled experimentation reigns supreme."
