An Ode to Us: Encouragement to Caterpillars is a collection of visual poetry. What started as a book of poems on the African American journey has now found its way to the canvas, with 15+ pieces of artwork that accompany some of the books poems. The night will be a an exhibit of poetry and the accompanying artwork with a performance of poems from the book.
