State of Becoming is produced by three current U of M studio art students who are also parents. Work in the show focuses on the artists' parenting experiences. The show is interdisciplinary and mixed-media, with a combination of two-dimensional and three-dimensional works.

The Box Gallery is a student-run art gallery on the University of Memphis campus.
