Four of Hearts is a meditation on the realms beyond. The artworks of this show are conduits for spiritual and ancestral knowledge, connecting viewers more deeply with both the natural world and the universe at large. Works from artists across various mediums explore the ways we gather, connect, and remember.

Through quilting, printmaking, and collage, MengCheng 梦城团 Collective’s pieces explore the intersecting layers of Chinese mythologies and motifs of the American South.

Opening night on March 7, 5:00-7:30pm will mark the launch of the long-awaited book Jia Pu 家谱: Cooking Our Way Home; Recipes, Art & Stories from the Asian American South by MengCheng 梦城团 Collective.

To dive deeper into the themes of the show and book, MengCheng 梦城团 Collective will host Grief Talks, an evening of artist talk, community ritual, and somatic movement on March 16, 6:00-7:30pm.
