HORN ISLAND 33

Rust Hall Main Gallery (Memphis College of Art) / 1930 Poplar Ave. August 14, 2017 - September 29, 2017

This annual exhibition’s artwork is the outcome of an 11-day annual trip by MCA students, faculty and alumni to Horn Island, a barrier island off the coast of Pascagoula, Miss. This year, over 40 participants made the excursion, immersing themselves in the relative isolation and primitive conditions of the undeveloped island. There will be a Reception on August 26 from 5:30-8:30pm. Remaining artworks will be listed for sale online at shop.mca.edu on October 9.

Gallery hours are Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m.–4 p.m. and Sunday, noon – 4 p.m.
