HAMLETT DOBBINS: THE WINDOW OF MY STUDIO

David Lusk Gallery Memphis / 97 Tillman St. October 13 - November 21st (Reception: October 16 5:00pm - 7:00pm)

Hamlett Dobbins

Some of the work is very quiet and some of the others are louder. The paintings follow the same rules as before: they are reflections on moments in my life where I felt great joy or delight. I use my studio practice to wrap myself in these golden moments. As a result, the paintings tend to be different depending on the source of the joy. --HD
