Orange Mound Library and Genealogy Center / 843 Dallas St. February 1, 2026 - February 28, 2029
Daniel Moore
About the Sculpture:
This sculpture features multi-generational silhouettes in colors that honor the historic Melrose High School. Its Double Helix design is a nod to the genealogy center, while the Osage Orange pattern connects to the community's deep historical roots. Daniel also wanted to include this quote by Larry Finch,“This is my heart right here, Orange Mound, Tennessee. There will never be a place like Orange Mound. Everything in this city starts and ends with Orange Mound.”
About the Artist:

He is the founder of The Oxide Studio in Phoenix, Arizona, where he creates works inspired by natural plant life and his background in photography.
