Art of the South, an annual exhibition presented by Number: Inc, is a juried event open to all artists living and working in the South. In our sixth exhibition to date, we are pleased to feature 49 works from 50 artists from 16 states and 1 district at the Memphis College of Art. Memphis College of Art’s gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm, Saturday 9am to 4pm, and Sunday noon to 4pm.

Number: Inc is honored to announce that this year’s juror is Bethany Springer, Associate Professor of Sculpture at the University of Arkansas. Bethany was born in Washington, D.C. in 1975. Her installations have been exhibited at venues including 21C Museum Hotel in Bentonville, AR, Maryland Art Place (MAP) in Baltimore, Boston Center for the Arts, the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, Creative Arts Workshop in New Haven, CT, the Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton, NJ, City Gallery East in Atlanta, the Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville, the Georgia Museum of Art, the Kansas City Artists Coalition, Full Tilt Creative Centre in Newfoundland, Canada, and The Delaware Contemporary in Wilmington, DE (forthcoming).
