The Museum of Unnatural History exhibits work created by UTK Sculpture students enrolled in the Spring 2023 Metal Fabrication course taught by Professor John Douglas Powers and Graduate Teaching Assistant Hanna Grace Seggerman. Students address the natural world and its history. Inspired by fossils, records, and historic reconstructions these students explore fabricating flora and fauna in both their fragmented and whole states while considering the materiality of steel and how it informs content. Please join us for our reception on Friday April 21 from 5-7pm and our Open Hours on Saturday April 22 from 10am-1pm.
