Lilienthal Gallery’s Fall Exhibition merges two spheres of influence to create an immersive art destination in North Knoxville. In a joint venture with Dogwood Arts, our outdoor alley space now features thirteen large-scale, permanent murals by prominent, award-winning artists from across the country.

As a complement to this venture, we have curated an in-house gallery show that exhibits renowned figures in the Street Art movement, such as pioneering women artists like Swoon, Lady Pink, and Aiko. Alongside these emblematic figures, we are showcasing the Knox Walls muralists like Juan Manuel Rozas, who helped created Wynwood Walls Miami, to Don Rimx, The Obanoth, and local muralists Megan Lingerfelt and Curtis Glover.

Street art is considered to be one of the largest art movements in modern times. It became very popular as an ongoing, fast-growing global form of art. From sprayed graffiti to monumental painted murals covering entire buildings, it appeared in urban areas and public locations. Site-specific ‘exhibitions’ continue to dominate trends in the art world.
