PRINTS AND PROSE: AN ODE TO SOUTHERN APPALACHIA

Relay Ridge / 4124 McKinley St. NE October 4 - 31st

Prints and Prose: An Ode to Southern Appalachia opens October 4th 6-9pm with reading performances at 7:30pm & 8pm

In collaboration with Knox Small Press Fest, Printmakers Anonymous created this exhibition to celebrate the everlasting relationship between our visual and written languages that help share our stories, history, folklore, and collective narrative of our experiences in this region. This group show highlights the timeless intimacy between storytelling, printmaking, writing, bookmaking and traditional craft in Southern Appalachia.

This exhibition gave us to the opportunity to host an unique segment to our typical gallery receptions ✨ TWO live readings ✨ by artists Chelsie Blair Nunn and Jazmin Witherspoon. Both artists will share selected written works. Readings will at 7:30pm and 8pm, respectively.

And, as always, we will have Open Artist Studios and printmaking demos in the printshop (our first Relay Ridge merch!)
