Cherry East is excited to host The Gathering Space by LaKesha Lee, an installation consisting of functional ceramics and textiles.

The exhibition serves as a form of material culture in which the audience is invited to share tea with the artist, surrounded by an array of mixed-media works. A textural material language foregrounds cultural traditions, such as storytelling through craft. In this space, objects embody memory, suggesting that each holds a living, kindred presence that forges connections between past and future generations.
