Please join us for Green Room, a show of prints, paintings, and collaborative works by Anthony Huang and Megan Wolfkill. The show will take place at Gallery 1010 in The Emporium on Friday, September 29 from 5-7pm and Saturday, September 30 from 10am-1pm. As dancers and artists, Huang and Wolfkill find themselves seeking spaces of patience, contemplation, and becoming. The surfaces of their artworks mimic the space of the green room, which is used to ready oneself to step in front of a crowd, to shed the skin of self and become something or someone else if only for the moment. The works in Green Room provide a space to do just that: to suspend a sense of self, to be patient, and to become.
