FRAMING CHOICE PHOTOGRAPHY SHOW
The Central Collective / 923 N. Central St. May 5, 2017 - May 5, 2017
Planned Parenthood's FYI Peer Educators are proud to present the 10th annual Framing Choice Photography Show! Join us on First Friday, May 5th from 5:00-8:00PM at The Central Collective as this year's Peer Educators showcase photographs depicting the choices these young people have made in their lives.
The show is free and open to the public; light snacks will be served. The photographs will be available for purchase, and all donations support the ongoing work of the FYI Peer Education Program.
(Artists - FYI Peer Educators) The FYI Peer Educators are high-school age students from the Knoxville area who participate in two semesters of education sessions on human sexuality topics. These peer educators then go back into their schools and provide accurate, non-judgmental information on sexual health to their peers. FYI Peer Educators also advocate for issues that are important to them, such as safer sex, HIV awareness, transgender rights, and related social justice issues.
