Something Like A Scab is a solo show surveying recent paintings by Eric Hines, a 2nd year MFA candidate, in the School of Art at the University of Tennessee. His recent painting are invested in materiality, the contact and/or penetration between materials, and moments of devotion, and unconsciousness between material, and maker.
