Exquisite Corpse is based on the collaborative game played by Surrealist artists, where each participant would draw an image on a sheet of paper, fold the paper to conceal their contribution, and pass it on to the next player for his contribution.

Collective Corpse is a group show curated by Dale Mackey, featuring 15 Knoxville artists collaborated to create 5 figures based on a randomly assigned part of the body (head & shoulders, torso & arms, legs) and encouraged to interpret their assignments literally, figuratively, or somewhere in between. The resulting combinations may be beautiful, haunting, silly or disastrous.
