THE 2024 VTA ANNUAL JURIED STUDENT EXHIBITION

Join us for the UT Martin Department of Visual and Theatre Arts Annual Juried Student Exhibition! The opening reception will take place on Tuesday, April 9th, from 5 to 6:30 PM with awards presented at 5:45 PM.

Our juror for this year is Louis Giberson, Associate Professor of Art at Lane College. Louis is an Associate Professor of Art at Lane College where he has taught for thirteen years. Originally from Edwardsville, Illinois, Louis graduated with his M.F.A. from Memphis College of Art in 2009. Upon graduation, Louis worked as an Assistant Preparator for 2 years at the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art and taught adjunct at Southwest Tennessee Community College. Louis is married to his loving wife of thirteen years and is a proud father of three. Besides drinking copious amounts of coffee, Louis is an aspiring LEGO builder and has been making art professionally for twenty years.
