The Department of Art + Design at Austin Peay State University is pleased to present the BFA Studio Art Thesis Exhibition The Space Between by Liz Vatovec in the Beach Gallery. The exhibition will run from October 27 - 30, with an opening reception and gallery talk on October 27th from 5 - 7 p.m.

Liz Vatovec is a multidisciplinary artist based near Nashville, Tennessee. Her work explores themes of identity and human connection through photography and sculptural forms, incorporating ceramics and mixed media. She is completing her B.F.A. in Studio Art (Dec 2025) and holds a B.S. in Multidisciplinary Studies (2023) from Austin Peay State University, summa cum laude honors. Additionally, she earned a Graduate Certificate in Grant Writing (2025).
