On April 15, The University Art Gallery at Sewanee opens “Redefine,” an exhibition of work by graduating art majors Annie Bagay, Adrian Bowie, Lucy McMahon, Mimi Middlebrooks, Colton Treadwell, and Yunxin Xing. In "Redefine," the artists seek new perspectives. The featured work engages the audience in the reevaluation and transformation of experiences of the human body, memory and emotion. An opening reception will be held in the gallery from 4:30 to 6 p.m. On April 22, the artists will present their work in Convocation Hall at 1 p.m., as part of Scholarship Sewanee. On May 7 from noon to 3 p.m., the gallery will host a Baccalaureate Reception. Exhibition closes May 7. The gallery is located on Georgia Avenue at The University of the South campus in Sewanee. Gallery hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday- Friday; noon-4 p.m. Saturday-Sunday. Admission is free.
