𝔹𝔼𝕋𝕎𝔼𝔼ℕ 𝕊ℙ𝔸ℂ𝔼𝕊 opening this Saturday, April 1 between 5-8 is the culmination of a long-awaited collaboration and exchange between two artist-run spaces!

Exhibition Statement

Between Spaces is an exhibition taking place in two different art galleries on opposite sides of the country, born from an interest in understanding similarities and differences across the vast cultural, geographical, and socio-political landscape divides that are unique to American life. Wavelength is excited to share a group of artists from Carnation Contemporary’s membership—curated by Rachael Zur —with works that use place to discuss complex realities.

Concurrent to this exhibition, Raquel Mullins, founder of Wavelength Space, has curated a selection of artists with ties to the Southeastern United States—or who self-identify as “Southern” or “Southeastern” artists—to exhibit at Carnation Contemporary this April.
