2026 AVA JURIED MEMBER EXHIBITION

AVA is excited to announce this year’s Annual Juried Member Show. This multi-media exhibition is AVA’s longest running tradition, and will feature small, cohesive collections of work from the artists that juried into the show. The artist receiving “Best in Show” will be granted a solo exhibition at AVA in 2027 and go on to serve as a juror for next year’s show. Each juror was also invited to select an artist as their “Juror’s Choice” and the three artists who were chosen for that award will also be granted a group show together at AVA in coordination with the solo show.

This year’s jurors:
Brittany Baldwin — Queens, NY-based artist and muralist, known for sweeping, gestural abstract paintings, drawings and public installations. She is currently the Program Director for The Canopy Program and an Adjunct Professor at Adelphi University.

Danyelle Woods— Artist, educator and last year’s Juried Show “Best in Show” winner. Her abstract 2D and 3D mixed media works utilize earthen pigments and natural materials. Her solo exhibit will open at AVA in September.

Ann Nichols — Award-winning artist and former arts columnist at the Chattanooga Times Free Press, known for intricately detailed realist painting in oil depicting still life and nature scenes with a variety of birds and flora.
