Each year, AVA hosts a juried member exhibition, designed to highlight a selection of our roster of member artists. Each year, we hire three arts professionals to serve as jurors and each submission is scored on a series of categories: technique/craftsmanship, creativity/innovation, design/composition, visual impact and professional presentation. This year, we received submissions from 87 artists and 30 received scores that qualified entry into the show. As is tradition, each year, the artist whose work received the highest score between the three jurors is awarded "Best in Show" and granted a solo exhibit of their work at AVA the following year.
